The IBEW U21 System Council

System Council 21 is a system council of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. We proudly represent over 450 of the IBEW's finest members working at Mississippi Power a subsidiary of Southern Company. We hope you find this website useful and informative.

Our main goal is to provide representation and service to our membership and to help any unorganized workers become one of our members. There are 3 Local unions IBEW 1204, 1209, and 1211 in System Council 21.

Contract Negotiations Update!!

September 11, 2023

Negotiations are in full swing at the moment. The Company and the Union are working diligently to address as many issues as possible and creating a partnership to move forward together. While we may not agree on all things we are working together!!

IBEW U21 - Mission Statement:
